He is working as a Consultant in Orthopaedics RCSI Hospital group. He is also a consultant orthopaedics & clinical lead orthopaedics in RCSI. He has been the Secretary of the Irish Foot & Ankle Society from 2017-2019. He founded Pakistan Foot & Ankle Society in 2014 and worked as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at Agha Khan University Hospital, Karachi during 2013-2014.

Zubair has 20+ years of work experience in the Private and Public sectors. Currently, Zubair is working as "General Manager - Performance", in the Health Service Executive (HSE) and also as a Lecturer in the ICD Business School. Zubair holds four Master Degrees, two Diplomas and many Professional Certificates in Business Management, Digital Health Transformation and in the field of Project and Change Management.

IPPA has over 1500 Professional Members, about 80% of IPPA's members are comprised of doctors, while the remaining members include various professionals such as accountants, engineers, solicitors, business managers, and others. For practical reasons, IPPA has established two separate entities: IPPA Med, which caters to doctors and other healthcare professionals, and IPPA Tech, which serves ICT, engineers, and other non-medical IPPA professionals.

Dr Khalid Sarwar Khan

Dr Khalid Khan is the Founding and current President of IPPA. He is working as a Consultant in Orthopaedics RCSI Hospital group. He is also an Hr. Senior Clinical Lecturer and Examiner in RCSI. Founding Member, Executive Committee Member, and Director of Irish Pakistani Professionals Association. Absar has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry in Ireland. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hindsa Technologies Limited, a provider of custom software solutions in Ireland. Absar was awarded M.Eng. degree by University of Limerick, Ireland; and B.Eng. degree by NED University of Engineering & Technologies, Karachi, Pakistan.

Prof Muhammad Mukhtar is the current President of IPPA. He is working as a Consultant Anaesthesiologist since 2008, currently at St. Vincent’s healthcare groups and Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital Dublin. He has special interests in medical audit, thoracic anaesthesia, Paediatric anaesthesia and regional ophthalmic techniques.

Dr Mustafa Mehmood
Consultant Emergency Medicine at St. James's Hospital Dublin
Dr Mustafa Mehmood is the current General Secretary of IPPA. He is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine with a fellowship in falls and syncope. He has a special interest in geriatrics, medical education, simulation, and patient safety. He is a strong advocate for civility in medicine, believing firmly that Civility Saves Lives.
Dr Atiqa Rafiq

Dr Atiqa is the current Joint Secretary of IPPA. She is a consultant old age psychiatrist based in Louth. She established an award winning memory clinic service in North Louth. As the vice chair of the faculty of the Old Age Psychiatry of the College of Psychiatrists in Ireland, she has made representation before the Subcommittee of the Oireachtas on the Mental health amendments Act (2021).

She is the current Finance Secretary of IPPA. M.Sc. in Physiology from Karachi University and Masters in Human Resources from Dublin, Ireland. Working as a HR Compliance and Security Manager in a multi-national company in Ireland.

Humera is the current Social Secretary of IPPA. Humera started her medical career in Ireland from Rotunda Hospital under the RCPI scheme and completed her Basic Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Since 2008 working as an Anaesthesia consultant in Ireland initially in HSE and since 2012 full-time private practice in Dublin.

He moved to Ireland in 2001. He completed his higher surgical training in various teaching hospitals. Following that, he was appointed as consultant surgeon in general and vascular surgery.

Dr. Muhammad Shahid is a graduate of Nishtar Medical College, Multan. He moved to Ireland in 2006 after completing his fellowship in Anaesthesia with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He subsequently obtained his fellowship from the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland. Since 2016, Dr. Shahid has been serving as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Wexford General Hospital.

Muhammad Umair is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, with a specialist interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and GI oncology. He serves as an Executive Member and Director of Communications for the European Board of General Surgery and as Chair of the European Surgical Fellows Network, and he is actively involved in advancing surgical education, sustainability in healthcare, and cross-border collaboration in surgical training across Europe.
